Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame (ASTM E- 84)
Foamseal contains fire retardants. However in common with all organic materials it is combustible and extreme caution should be taken with the use of naked flames. In essence it is more difficult to ignite than, say, wood, but in a fire situation it will burn and, as with all organic materials, give off toxic fumes.
Density Considerations
Adhesion Properties
The foam adheres to most substrates except materials such as Teflon, silicone and polyethylene. Foam also adheres to itself, allowing layers to build up to desired thickness.
